CASEY JOHNSON: PRIMARY FORMS

For his first solo exhibition at Dernier Cri, Casey Johnson presents a new body of sculpture exploring the tension between opposites—organic and geometric, raw and refined, structure and freeform. Working in pine, maple, reclaimed oak, walnut, and natural stone, Johnson draws from natural formations, found materials, and the built environment to create forms that feel at once primeval and contemporary.
