Cantharellus l is inspired by the ancient gingko leaf, and the chanterelle mushroom, respectively. All forms are built in stoneware using the pinch and coil method and then given their 'movement' by adding surface texture which is used to enhance the shape, line, shadow, & sense of movement. A clear glaze is added to the inside or to the rim of the form for functionality and/or contrast to the raw matte exterior. They're bodies are complex yet delicate, & soft yet gritty in nature.
