Blue Square, made from mylar balloons found on the beaches of Fire Island, reflects the
water’s reflection of the blue sky above. Textural and shimmering, as seen on daily walks on
the beach. A portal to the seascapes and skyscapes we all long for.
Over the past ten years, Suzanne has collected over 1,000 mylar balloons roaming the beach of Fire
Island. All family milestones, unknown celebrations, birthdays, graduations, Mother’s Day,
Father’s Day. All became the medium of transformation for the past ten years.
