CASEY JOHNSON (he/him/his) is an artist, sculptor, and woodworker who designs and creates custom and commissioned pieces internationally. His work explores the contrast between light and shadow as they shift between textures, juxtaposing soft vs. hard, and brutalist vs. organic form. He founded Casey Johnson Studio in 2014, applying his background in Fine Art & Design to the creation of sculptures and sculptural furniture. Casey has grown his business from a one-man operation to a small team of craftsmen, leading them in the production of his designs. His studio is located in Black Mountain, North Carolina, where he lives with his wife and two kids.
